The student council consists of all of the school students, just as society consists of its citizens. In order to promote student issues, there is the need for a smaller group to do the job. This group is the Student Council Board. In society, a parliament works in the same way. In the Student Council Board there is a representative from each class.
The Student Council Board consults the entire school Student Council in important matters, in order for the Board to represent all students. When opinions are asked, be sure to express your own opinion, in order for issues that are important to you to be promoted.
The student council allows students the opportunity to voice their opinions in regards to matters that affect their day to day life at school. The Student Council can also present issues that affect students in Vantaa to the city officials and politicians through the annual Vaikuttaja-project, an important platform to have ones voice heard. Through this project, students have the opportunity to influence the city's development and decision-making. The student council also organizes various events for students throughout the school year.
