Home and School Cooperation
The most important tool for communication between the school and the home is the electronic Wilma-system. Through Wilma, you can monitor your child's school attendance and communicate with teachers and other school staff. A plan on communication through Wilma was jointly developed in cooperation with the parents’ associations.
In addition to using Wilma, the school can be contacted by telephone. The most reliable way to reach your child's teacher is to leave a call-back request with the school secretary. Other good ways to get acquainted with the operations of the school and with the child's teachers are by attending parents’ meetings in connection with the assessment, home-school cooperation days, as well as parents’ evenings. Every autumn, all parents are invited to participate in parents' activities, which is a nice way to be able to contribute, e.g., to the planning of the school year and future events.
Parent activities are voluntary work that promotes diverse children's growth, learning, and well-being, and it is also a source of great joy to the participants.
