Small Group Religious Education

In addition to the two official State religions in Finland, Evangelical Lutheran and Orthodox, Vantaa also offers small-group religious instruction as follows:

• Catholic
  
• Islam
  
• Buddhist
  
• Krishna Movement
  

If the school does not organize the student’s own religion, the religious community to which the student belongs can provide this education school-externally.

A student whose religion is not taught at the school can, at the request of the student’s parents or guardian, participate in ethics-education classes or in Evangelical Lutheran Religion.
